Dr. Emily Britsch (WA License # PY61491965) provides comprehensive psychological evaluations for toddlers and children (ages 18 months to 12 years) at Snohomish Psychology Associates in Everett, WA. She has a passion for working with toddlers and young children with suspected neurodevelopmental differences, such as autism and ADHD. Dr. Britsch enjoys collaborating with families to gain insight into their child’s strengths, how their child learns and interacts with the world, and the challenges that impact their daily lives.
Dr. Britsch does not provide therapy services, adult evaluations, custody/parenting evaluations, or forensic assessments.

Intake Interview
We will review your child’s developmental and medical history, along with current concerns that brought you to the evaluation. After the intake, we will discuss an individualized assessment plan. The intake appointment typically lasts 60-90 minutes. The extent of your child’s involvement in this appointment depends on their age.
Testing appointment(s)
Next comes direct testing and observation with your child. The testing appointment(s) include a variety of activities, puzzles, and games for your child to complete with Dr. Emily and typically range from 2 to 6 hours in total. I will also provide questionnaires for you, your child, and/or your child’s teachers to complete.
Report and Feedback
After testing is complete, I will integrate the findings and write a comprehensive report summarizing your child’s unique strengths, challenges, and recommendations. We will review the results together at the feedback appointment (one hour, 1-3 weeks after testing) and discuss actionable next steps to best support your child.

Do you provide therapy?
I do not offer therapy services at this time.
What age range do you work with?
I specialize in working with toddlers and young children with suspected neurodevelopmental differences, such as autism and ADHD. I provide evaluations for children ages 18 months to 12 years. The minimum age I see for ADHD testing is 4 years.
Do you provide telehealth assessments?
No. While some components of the assessment (for example, the feedback session) may be completed via telehealth, testing appointment(s) are in person at Snohomish Psychology Associates in downtown Everett, WA.
What should I bring to the appointment(s)?
We will discuss the format of the intake interview when scheduling. For the testing appointment(s), please bring a small snack that your child enjoys, make sure your child is well rested, and if your child wears glasses, be sure to bring them!
How should I prepare my child for the assessment?
The testing appointments include a variety of activities, puzzles, and games. For toddlers and younger children, these are primarily play-based activities. You can let your child know that after Dr. Emily talks with you, she’ll be putting together lots of different activities to get to know them and suggest ways to help them at home and at school.
Do you take insurance?
I am in-network with Premera and in the process of becoming paneled with Regence. Please review the patient’s insurance coverage to ensure Dr. Britsch is considered in-network for behavioral health/mental health services for your specific plan within these networks.
Even with in-network insurance, there may still be out-of-pocket costs. The patient’s family would be responsible for any deductible, copay, and/or coinsurance.

If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, I do accept private-pay (out-of-pocket) and can provide a super bill after the evaluation is completed that you may choose to submit to insurance for possible (not guaranteed) partial reimbursement. Unfortunately, I am not able to provide services to those with Apple Care/ Medicare/ Medicaid at this time. This includes those with these insurances wishing to pay out-of-pocket.
What are your rates?
The cost for a private-pay (out of network) evaluation typically ranges from $2000 to $3600, depending on the complexity of the evaluation. This includes the initial intake interview ($325), testing/scoring ($200 per hour), and report writing and feedback ($225 per hour). A Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act) will be provided at the first appointment.
